At the base of Harbour Cone, Kingfisher B&B is close to Allan’s Beach with sea lions, seals, yellow eyed penquin & blue penquin, and costal birds. Kingfisher accommodation is close to wildlife attractions such at the Albatross Colony and Taiaroa Head.

Kingfisher B&B also offer a range of small scale farm animals that can be visited on the property. Guests are welcome to participate in small scale farm life, and collect eggs, visit sheep and cattle. We have a wide range of heritage breed chickens, several purebred Dexter cattle (which are dwarf cattle) and Arapara sheep (a rare New Zealand breed).
